How many times does the Space Shuttle orbit the Earth each day?

If you go to the home page for the most recent space shuttle, STS-75/Columbia launched in February 1996, you will see the basic orbital elements for this shuttle. Its orbital period was 90.35 minutes so that there were 15.9 orbits of it around the Earth each day. It traveled in a nearly circular orbit of about 290 kilometers.
