Is Ohio State University a good undergraduate school for astronomy?

Ohio State University has a number of fine astronomers, internationally respected for their work in cosmology, radio astronomy, dust chemistry and star formation. I do not, however, know what the undergraduate program is like in their Astronomy Department. The fact that the school does have an Astronomy Department is a good sign. I would suggest that, before embarking on a program in astronomy, that you discuss this with one of the astronomers on the faculty, preferably the youngest one on the staff who will have a more practical knowledge of what the job market has been like in the last 10 years. Good luck, and make certain you take plenty of physics, statistics and computer programming!
