I can imagine some pretty darn rare planetary occultations, such as Jupiter ECLIPSING Saturn or something along those lines, but without a reliable planetarium simulator at my disposal, and LOTS of time, I have no idea if these are one in a thousand year or one in 10,000 year events. Perhaps as a science fair project, someone would like to search for all of the rare, unusual planetary conjunctions and occultations.
