Would an airport X-ray machine 'pre-flash' my film to make it more sensitive?

I don't know. Preflashing usually involves using light at near-optical wavelengths to enhance the sensitivity of films. I have never heard that X- rays could be used in this way, and doubt very strongly that they can because their energies are 1000 times that of optical wavelength light to which film chemistry is most sensitive.
