No one I know has seriously considered such particles. The details are all lost in what we think a 'Theory of Everything' ought to look like at the so-called 'Planck Scale' and whether any stable particles are possible under these conditions. It is one thing to say that a minimum time interval is 10^-43 seconds, and quite another thing to say there is a stable particle with that 'Compton radius' in light travel time.
