What is it like to wear a space suit?

I imagine it must feel very confining and stiff because the suit is like a big stiff balloon that only moves at the joints. It must also have a peculiar odor inside because the air is recirculated, and may be a bit dry after filtering. If you fart...you die! When I see pictures of astronauts, I do not have the sense that they have an easy time moving around in these suits. It must be hard work constantly pulling and pushing against stiff joints.
