Was the 'Cosmic Egg' a black hole?

No. The 'Cosmic Egg' is not the correct relativistic way to think about the initial mass-energy configuration that 'preexisted' the Big Bang. Also, the kind of space-time geometry existing at that time has nothing to do with the space-times associated with black holes today. So, neither parts of this question are valid 'constructs' to use to describe the conditions and the question itself is therefore without any physical meaning.
