Could stars be the other end of black holes?

This is unlikely because, according to general relativity, if a black hole has another 'end' it is called a white hole and although it may superficially look like a star, it is actually a region of space in which mass is outflowing and not in stable equilibrium. This is not, however, the same thing as asking whether white holes exist, only that they would not look like stars.
