I have three different star charts showing different versions of constellations. Which should I believe?

The most expensive one! Charts out of books or magazines are usually only schematic and the lines drawn in are approximate. I would get a decent atlas such as Tirion's J2000 sky atlas or a copy of Nortons' Sky Atlas which you can get over at the Sky and Telescope page. They are accurate and definitive. Aside from that, without knowing exactly which charts are in question, it is hard for me to judge in the blind!
