General relativity predicts that you will never see any type of 'edge' to space. If space is infinite, then it's infinite with no edge. If the universe is closed like a sphere, our space is folded back over itself in a seamless manner so that, again, there is no edge. Any discussions of 'outer boundaries' or 'edges' to the universe are simply not physical questions no matter how logical and intuitive they might sound.
