Will Bose-Einstein condensates be helpful in understanding physics at the Planck Scale?

Not really. Bose-Einstein condensates are strictly phenomena related to very low temperature physics near absolute zero. The conditions at the Planck Scale can only be probed at temperatures above 10^30 Kelvin. The physics are at the opposite extremes of physically realizable temperatures in nature.
