You can visit the Mars Life web page over at the Johnson Space Flight Center. They have a good primer on the life issue and the meteorite studies.

I would stay away from all the web sites you find that are not explicitly identified as being NASA-supported. Check the URLs of the pages. If they do not include 'nasa.gov' in their address, don't treat the information you find there as authoritative.
