From the Earth's vantage point, Alpha Centauri is located at RA = 14h 36m dec = -60d 38'. The opposite point in the sky is found by adding 12 hours in RA and 180 degrees in dec to get RA = 2h 36m and dec=+120d 38' or subtracting 90 degrees, dec = +30d 38'.
My sky chart shows the galaxy NGC 972 near this position. The only bright star seems to be 11 Trianguli. Also, Messier 33, a pretty galaxy in Triangulum is not too far from this position either.
