Did anything interesting happen on May 1, 1988 in terms of the Moon, planets and stars?

There was a Full Moon at 23:41 UT or 18:41 EST. Pluto was at opposition. Jupiter was nearing conjunction with the Sun on May 2. Venus was the bright 'star' in the western sky at a magnitude of -4.5. As seen from the Sun, the planets were located at the following ecliptic longitudes:

Mercury 94
Venus 193
Earth 221
Mars 272
Jupiter 42
Saturn 268
Uranus 268
Neptune 278
Pluto 221
