Will there be an eclipse of the Sun visible from Africa on October 25, 1995 ?

There will be a total solar eclipse on October 24, but its track of totality begins near Tehran, Iran at sunrise, and passes over Calcutta, Bangkok, and then slides out over the Philippines. From Africa, you would see a 40 - 60% eclipsed Sun just after sunrise from locations in Somalia and Ethiopia. It will not be observable in other parts of Africa because it happens soon after sunrise.
